Our Computer Bit the Dust
Okay, so I haven't blogged or read any blogs for a while. It's been difficult as our main computer crashed and hard, and now all we have is a laptop. I know, so pathetic to say all we have is a laptop. It's like telling someone, yeah, we have cable TV, but only 300 channels, not 500. I should be grateful at least we have a laptop. Since all we have is a laptop I rarely go onto to it because I don't like using it. But today, I decided to just to write something. We have just started the early shopping phase for a new computer. Once the economy is officially considered in a deflationary period then I think that will be the time to buy. I could blog at work, but that is not something I really should be doing as I work in HR and it is my job to enforce things like don't blog at work or read blogs at work. And besides, once I start blogging at work I know I'll never stop and I'll get nothing done. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to pick my toenails.

Laptops are cool to blog on the road (read: at your favorite coffee spot), but as far as actually using one at home, the bottom burns your actual lap -so shouldn't they call it a table top?
and - here's a hint how to blog at work, even in HR...you can always say you're in the middle of something confidential.

I love my laptop, even though I want a Mac AirBook now which I know I'll never get because El Cheapo says so but I digress. I love my laptop cuz I can take it into the bathroom with me while I drop some kids off at the pool...You know that's why they were invented, right?
All we have (hooked up and running, anyway) is a laptop, too-- who needs a desktop? It's way easier to just have a laptop as the source for everything.
Yay deflation! Until it goes too far and we all crash in a horrible death spiral.

Yeah, uh huh, blame it on the death of the desktop. My sis in-law doesn't like using laptops either. She's too special to use the mouse correctly...and your issue is??

Hubs doesn't really like me using the laptop. I'm so used to a "real" computer, I totally bitch and complain the whole time while threatening to throw it against a wall.
poor you! I do love laptop than a desk top. uh is that like a age-related ? ha! I hope you get a PC soon and if u don't like ur laptop that bad, u can always send it to me, I don't mind having two! :)

Yeah, I can't blog at work. Since I was used to being a SAHM, work really cuts into my blogging time.
Hubby's been home a lot too since his boss went out of business. He's out today so guess, what? I'm blogging instead of putting my Christmas card holder up. I got my first Christmas card yesterday, the person who sent it needs to get a life, job or a hobby...Maybe I'm just not into decorating yet....Might have to do a post about the timing of Christmas cards.....
I need my own laptop! Then I could blog on my breaks at work!!

I have a laptop. Once I started using it, I started to hate a desktop. It is much more conducive to a lazy lifestyle. I am happy to hear that the HR guy is not goofing off on the job, I wondered about that. Hehehe.
